Please remember PHOTO ID IS REQUIRED to enter our school building. ALL visitors MUST sign in and out and wear a visitor badge while in the school. Thank you for helping us make sure all of our students are safe.
Car Rider Hangers
Remember, Car Rider Hangers are required!!!! Please place the hanger on your rearview mirror and leave it there until your child is in the car. All new students will receive a car hanger at the beginning of the school year. Thanks to those of you who are using the car-rider hangers consistently. It does help speed up the pick-up line when everyone uses them. As a result of our increased speed, we are now able to finish our dismissal around 3:30 – 3:40 p.m. For those of you who like a short line, you can come around 3:35 p.m. and zip right through! Thank you for helping us to develop a smooth-running end to our day!
Nurse Kayla
The Schoolhouse Health Staff will be available at LCMA for physicals, sports physicals, immunizations, and sick visits. They will be at the school some Wednesdays. If an appointment is needed, please contact Nurse Kayla at 606-423-3341 or the Schoolhouse Staff at 606-872-9659.
Just a reminder, if your child has a fever at any time, for any reason above 100.4, they cannot return to school until they have been fever free without the use of Tylenol or Ibuprofen for 24 hours. If you have any questions, please contact Nurse Kayla.

Science Hill is proud to be a smoke-free campus!!
A 100 percent tobacco-free school policy reflects a firm commitment by school administration, teachers and parents to provide students, personnel, and community members a safe, tobacco-free environment. Tobacco-free schools (including alternate nicotine products and vapor products) give adults the opportunity to be role models for tobacco-free lifestyles and set the tone for reduced social acceptance of tobacco use. In addition, studies show that students in tobacco-free schools are less likely to start smoking.
